From apples to new world wines

Ian and Anette Corder bought a beautiful apple farm in 2003 with the purpose of growing and producing world-class Sauvignon Blanc wine. In 2004, the transformation from apples into what is now a spectacular, new world wine farm began. Their farm is perfectly situated on the Elgin Valley plateau, 300 metres above sea level. It is close to the Atlantic Ocean with the ideal cool climate for slow ripening Sauvignon Blanc grapes. In fact, it has all the ideal variations in soil, terrain, microclimate and exposure to produce exceptional fruit for the Corder Cool Climate Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah varietals

"Where tradition and innovation mix."
